Agreed! So many times we are adding multiple items that pop up in the search window, but we have to redo the search everyime, because can only select one item. Perfect examples are networking gear and control equipment, because the different model numbers are pretty similar (like Araknis routers and switches; or control4 controllers and remotes or different length HDMI cables)

Mark Feinberg: Wouldn't adding accessories take care of most of that? Araknis Router, then a few different switches that you use regularly as the accessories. Control4 controller, then remotes and HDMI cables as the accessories.

Kris Tibbitts: Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I don't think a switch is an accessory to a router and therefore I wouldn't want it shown that way. Remotes are a possibility. We use 'accessories' more for 'miscellaneous' items that we don't want to clutter up the proposal and we don't show accessories (thinks like cables, connectors, etc). I wouldn't want major pieces of hardware in the accessories section as they wouldn't be seen by the client.

Mark Feinberg: That makes sense. Packages even show the sub-items as accessories. I wonder if something like "suggested items" that we could build vs "accessories", or somehow select whether the sub-items are customer viewable or not would actually be more helpful.

Kris Tibbitts: I’d really just like to select multiple items when I search - if there were selection boxes next to the items in the search drop down list, it would be best. That way I don’t have to deal with adding things to packages or accessories. They just show up and I can select them

Yes! would love to see a list of products with check boxes. Click on each (TV, speakers, remotes, etc,) then click "ok", or "add to room." .....a huge time saver.
