Grouping Multiple Proposals Under A Single Project

The ability to have multiple contracted proposals grouped under a single project. This is mainly for project management so you can pull in tasks, ordering, change orders, etc. under a single project that has multiple accepted proposals. This way if you have a Prewire/Trim Proposal, Lighting Control Proposal, Motorized Shades Proposal, etc. all under the same client you can manage them from a single project without having to keep up with them all individually.

When in a single opportunity you build 2 or more different proposal for different things, like AV and Shades. It would be nice if at some point you could merge them in a single proposal.

We would like the ability to split a project into separate proposals by phase.

We would like to see the ability to split designs by phases with separate acceptance and payment schedules. For example on a new construction project it would be great to be able to design the entire project top to bottom and then generate one proposal for rough-in/trim out and another for post closing finish work.

While I already have the overall dollar totals by phase. It's very cumbersome to divide things up, particularly since we make use of the accessory feature to attach our pre-wires to each device.

This is a key feature we need for D-Tools long term. Often times Phase 1 and Phase 2 need to be quoted separately but merged at some point.

We second this! One feature function idea we see as a possible solution to this issue is if the copy proposal option allowed you to not only copy it to another (or the same) opp/project but allowed you to sub select a proposal within to add the items into. 
Items could map to rooms that already exist and rooms could be added if there's new ones.
This would make creating a combined proposal from different departments a breeze.

This is a much needed feature for bigger project. On multiple occasions, phases and/or type of products are quoted separately. We manually merge the accepted into a new project for easier project management under one project after.

It is also cumbersome to try to invoice by phase when you need to compare it to the items on the screen which are listed by location in the phase. I too would like to be able to generate a quick quote by phase which the items grouped together so i can verify everything was invoiced properly upon the completion of rough in.
