The ability to Group by Item would be really helpful in using this list to place and track orders. Additionally, it would be nice that, when grouping by item, multiples of the same item, would be combined into a single line item with quantity. In general, there need to be more flexibility on the Group By feature, for example, how about grouping by item, alphabetically, price (high to low and low to high and the ability to select multiple grouping parameters.

Sending out quotes to customers with multiple lines of the same item, especially on big, design build jobs makes no sense. If I'm doing a 4 floor apartment building, I can end up with multiple PAGES of identical items. My GC's do not want to see that, they just want the totals for each item used in the project. Please fix this!

Wesley Michael I don't think this is what this post refers to, but it absolutely can make sense. I'm often sending out quotes where items may be the same but accessories and labor could be different, so they need to be separate line items. What you're looking for I think it quantity-based which was added in D-Tools SI last year. Honestly, I think a project large enough to require what you're talking about is happier in SI than Cloud right now.

Completely agree. NEED to ability to sort the ITEM or any of the other columns. Also filter by PO - that way when a shipment arrives, its a helluva lot more efficient checking the items as received (by filtering down to the PO)! Agree with grouping items if multiple of the same item.

Yes, how come this has not been updated yet!? We print the product list for staging and it is a total nightmare when you have to manually count how many keystones for instance, are in a project instead of just having them grouped together.

I can not believe that more people have not upvoted this. The "Product Status" page is a mess. One of the most important parts and it is horrible to use. Stuff is scattered everywhere. It would even be nice to consolidate them. When you have a big job with a bunch of the same thing, it is just brutal. The picture I included it only from a three room audio job. It makes me mad to look at it. Imagine a bigger one.

Kris Tibbitts: Totally agree. Ordering product and keeping track of it status NEEDS to me made much more user friendly and efficient. Fix this before adding other functionality!
