Use vendor pricing to automatically price wire by the foot

Would like the ability to sync the pricing for wire from the manufacturer and use a second field of wire length to automatically set the price per foot when the "By the foot" field is selected. That way the pricing will always be synced with the vendor for the full spool of wire and we can confidently specify price per foot cabling in our quotes.
If this is not the case, then we lose the synced pricing from the vendor.

Sad to see that it's 4 years since this request and still nothing within D-Tools Cloud.
We need to be able to set the number of units that the cost is derived from. Many things beyond wire benefit from this too, anything purchased in a bulk pack.
We face this with wire cost of 1000', speaker costs as pairs, 10-packs having the cost of the full 10-pack, etc etc etc
Not being able to do that puts us in a position where we have to manipulate the synced costs due to the mismatch, it seems like it should be very easy to give us the option to define the quantity per cost/ordered unit

I can't believe that we don't have this option. How is the data base suppose to keep the automatic pricing updated. That was whole reason to making the change from Bid Magic.

Yes we need this... I just signed up for D-tools because we need to keep our pricing current. 1st Item I started with was Bulk wire and now wondering if I should have waited...

YES PLEASE. I know I am not a programmer, but it seems like it might just be a simple calculation field that can be turned on or off.
