Yes, an Excel import function is needed and I'm surprised this hasn't been added years ago. It's a basic function most programs accommodate - A no brainer!

We use excel sheets to start our quotes and build our bill of materials and would like to be able to import those directly into D Tools Cloud via "CSV Upload" similar to SI.

We signed up for D-Tools to get away from disorganized spreadsheets. However, the current UI is a bit too "roomy" when compared to a spreadsheet, so our Procurement Manager often needs a spreadsheet for ordering. The current "Export items to CSV" would be better if we could permanently customize the columns on the downloaded CSV (many of the columns are unnecessary for procurement). I wonder if it would be faster to upload our BOM, have D-Tools understand it (perhaps with some use of AI), and then adapt our export template accordingly.
